Unfading Beauty

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry, or fine clothes. rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight."

LADIES 

In the world full of choice, we are faced, to make decisions, on the daily. What should I wear? What should I apply? When you are standing in front of the mirror, who do you see; A woman who is beautiful, quite, gentle, or a woman who is haughty, unrestricted and uncontrolled? Upon picking out an outfit, do you immediately, think about, how you can, stand out in the crowd, or how you can represent Christ through your style?!

"Should not" is a preference attached with an alternative choice. An alternative choice to godly living.
  
Your dress is a statement to the world. You know a policewoman by her neatly packed apparel, flight attendant by her dress-code, a cook by the hat, and a military officer by his uniform. Prostitute, by the wearing of uncovered clothing, tight, short, revealing apparel to entice the buyer. Any profession that you come across, represents it's affiliation. You, my lady are a QUEEN, and a queen is to be represented as a jewel that she is, she is to be addressed with honor and regard. She is to be treated with dignity and respect.

When you decide what you are going to wear, how are you going to do your hair, and makeup, have you decided on how you can please the LORD? You represent Christ, and you are affiliated with the King of kings. No matter where you are, you have a responsibility to carry, as a representative of Christ. The fancy looking dress, or expansive jewelry, takes away the Glory of God. It switches focus from God, to self. A self that desires to be fed on the daily.

Is it really important how I do my hair, and the type of makeup on my face? Yes Queen, you are representing the King of the kings, you are showcasing the product, no matter where you are. Not just in church on a Sunday, or your birthday, or a special event, you my Queen represent Jesus as his follower on the daily. Be a godly representative of Christ. 

Choose to live a clean life, unpolluted by the world, separated by the style, behavior, and conduct. When you are facing a choice in the morning, vanity or godliness, choose to profess godliness, instead of worldliness.

Let your beauty, not be defined, by the world's standards of beauty, let the unfading beauty, shine from within.
